The Artist

I’m Karen Pe’er,

a Toronto-based artist creating contemporary works that blend colour, texture, and cultural storytelling. My practice moves between acrylic monoprints, paintings, and mixed media pieces — each one meant to invite warmth, connection, and reflection.

My work

often draws from Jewish culture, personal history, and the emotional resonance of colour. I’m inspired by the way textures hold memory and how a single gesture can carry a feeling. Over the past year, my work has been featured in curated exhibitions, juried shows, and community art spaces, including selected works sent to Miami Art Week.

Creating art is a deeply grounding process for me — a way of expressing both movement and quietness at once. I hope my pieces bring the same sense of meaning and presence into the homes and collections they enter.
