Through Their Sacrifices, We Rise honours the resilience, struggles, and sacrifices of the Yemeni Jewish women who paved the way for the freedoms and opportunities that modern Yemeni Jewish women enjoy today. Seventy-five years ago in Yemen, the only role available to Jewish women was to become wives and child-bearers, married off before reaching puberty. Today, the possibilities are limitless.
